The
Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency held 3 one day seminars
for users of Census data. The seminars: “2001 Census – A User’s
Guide”; were free and provided, amongst other things, an in-depth
overview of the range of output available from the 2001 Census and
information on data quality and disclosure issues. It also included
demonstrations of the electronic media being used to disseminate the
Census results. The seminars were held at 3 regional locations:
Each seminar consisted of 4 plenary sessions with presentations from NISRA staff and a Census user. Each day ended with a question and answer panel to discuss the issues raised. Break out areas were also provided to allow users to view, use, ask questions and purchase available Census products.
