Accommodation Type
ACCHUK

This variable records the type of accommodation occupied by the household.

Applicability:  All household spaces, UK

1       Detached house or bungalow

2       Semi-detached house or bungalow

3       Terraced house or bungalow (including end-terrace)

4       Purpose-built flat, maisonette, or apartment

5       Flat, maisonette, or apartment which is part of a converted or shared house (includes bed-sits)

6       Flat, maisonette, or apartment in a commercial building

7       A caravan or other mobile or temporary structure
