If you intend to reuse, or publish
Census data, a licence is required. Recipients of Census data are
also required to comply with the standard Conditions of Supply which
should then be passed to any 3rd parties receiving the data.
Under the new licence scheme,
introduced by HMSO on 1st April 2001, information produced for
Government purposes is known as 'core' data and is available for
re-use and publication through 'click-use' licences available from
HMSO's Web site. Specially tailored licences can also be obtained
from HMSO's Web site for the re-use of information that is not
specifically produced for Government purposes (i.e. value added
information)
