The reports published from the 1971
Census data are:

County
reports
Reports were published for each of the Counties of
Fermanagh, Tyrone, Londonderry, Armagh, Down, Antrim and the
County Borough of Belfast. The table give figures for
counties, local authority areas, wards, district electoral
divisions and towns and villages with 50 or more houses. The
subjects covered were population and area, sex, age, marital
condition, birthplace, religion, private dwellings,
households, tenure, amenities, private motor cars, garaging,
economically active persons and occupational status. |

Summary
report
The summary report gives summaries of the
information contained in the County reports for Northern
Ireland. Additionally, this report gives statistics covering
the same subjects included in the County reports for the
local authority areas which became functional in October
1973. |

Religion
report
Tables in this report give, by the main religious
denominations, details of the population by sex, age,
marital status, occupation, industry, socio-economic group and
the numbers and characteristics of households. |

Economic
Activity report
These tables give statistics of the occupied
population based on their personal occupation and the
employed population classified according to the branches of
industry in which they are employed with reference to age,
marital condition, employment status, socio-economic group
etc. Most tables refer to Northern Ireland level but
some cover local authority level. |

Workplace
and Transport to Work report
This report contains details of the resident
population and the population employed in each area, the
main workplace movements from one area to another and the
main means of transport to work used for such movement. |
|
Migration
report
These tables give statistics of the number and
characteristics of people who changed their usual residence
in the year or in the five years before Census day with
details of their age, sex, marital condition, area of
previous residence, and the number and characteristics of
migrant households. |

Education
report
These tables give details of the age, sex, occupation and
industry of those people who had obtained any academic or
vocational qualification and details of the type level and
subject of the qualification held. |

Housing
and Household Composition report
This Housing tables contain tabulations, not covered by the
County reports, on dwellings, households, tenure, household amenities,
cars and garaging. Most tables refer to Northern Ireland
some tables cover local authority level. The Household
Composition tables provide information on the composition
and social and economic characteristics of
households. |
