Introduction

This publication is the sixth report from the 2001 Census of Population for Northern Ireland.  It provides a statistical profile of each settlement with a population of 1000 or more usually residents, covering topics such as age, educational qualifications, labour market status, provision of care, ethnic group, religion and community background.  The settlements have been grouped in accordance with the eight way classification outlined in the report entitled "Statistical classification and delineation of settlements".
