Geography Section - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & COPYRIGHT NOTICE

Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland Ô (OSNI Ô) is the Official Mapping Agency of Northern Ireland. Under delegated authority from Her Majesty's Stationery Office (HMSO) OSNI is responsible for the management of the copyright in the digital database and paper archive. OSNI is anxious to encourage the widest possible correct use of the data and maps produced by the Agency, however we also have a duty to protect the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in this information. OSNI actively polices the use and misuse of its Intellectual Property. Where we identify any unauthorised use of our IP we will, in the first instance, contact persons or organisations to allow for the opportunity to procure the proper licences and / or permits. However if the unauthorised use continues OSNI will pursue to the limits of the law proper legal redress.

Printing

The internet user may print off one single copy of a specific map or section of a map.  Any further copies of that map or section of that map must be accounted for.  If you require more than one single copy of any map or section of that map you should contact NISRA Customer Services on 028 90348160.  You may also email your request to  census.nisra@dfpni.gov.uk.  NISRA will notify you of the appropriate royalty charges.
