Census
2001 Table Specifications
The final published
table specifications for 2001 Census Output were produced as a
result of a comprehensive programme of consultation with UK Census
users. These table layouts cover Key Statistics, Standard Tables,
Theme tables, Census Area Statistics, Census Area Theme tables and
Univariate Statistics.
This
set of table specifications is currently being tested and finalised
using 2001 Census data. Particular attention is being paid to the
utility of the tables, data quality and disclosure issues. While the
specifications for the Key Statistics and Standard Tables have been
signed off and the tables have been published, other tables may be
subject to change.
Copies
of the final consultation documents (for output which has not been
released) are provided below as an indication of the form of the
final 2001 Census Output. These will be replaced with finalised
specifications as they are available.
